In a statement, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights condemned the announcement by the Israeli occupation authorities to close the “Kerem Shalom” crossing, in response to the launching of incendiary balloons from the Gaza Strip towards Israel.  PCHR said that this decision affects the lives of more than 2 million Palestinians. This decision makes the Gaza strip fall under a policy of inclusive siege, inhuman and unlawful collective punishment imposed by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip since June 2007.  in addition to the fact that the decision has grave repercussions affecting the economic and living conditions of the residents of the Gaza Strip.
