The Question of Palestine program at Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD) will organise a webinar on Palestinian Prisoner’s Day. The purpose of this webinar, as ARDD announces, is to express solidarity with the thousands of Palestinian political prisoners held in Israeli jails and their mobilization for liberation as well as to raise awareness on the width and rationale of mass incarceration the Palestinians have been subject to since the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948.

Rula Shadeed (Al-Haq), Ahmad Khalifeh (ADALAH), Mervat Al Nahal (Al-Mezan), Milena Ansari (Addameer) and Salah Hammouri (Addameer) will participate to the webinar, and their presentations will be followed by a Q&A session. The event will be moderated by Ihsan Adel (Law for Palestine).

The webinar will take place on Monday, 17 April 2023, from 13:00 – 15:00 Jordan time (06:00-08:00 EST / 11:00-13:00 GMT / 12:00-14:00 CET & Ramallah time / 13:00-15:00 Jerusalem time) in English and Arabic, with simultaneous translation.
