Researcher Hakim El-Amri has published a paper in the Journal of Arts and Social Sciences, Volume 17, No. 3, entitled “The question of the full membership of Palestine in the United Nations and possible alternatives.” This research deals with the legal alternatives through which it is possible to reach full membership of the State of Palestine in the United Nations in light of the lifting of Palestinian representation to a non-member State as an observer, especially in light of the use of the United States’ veto power against any draft resolution n to raise the status of Palestine to a full-fledged state.
