The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs welcomed the European Union’s stance rejecting settlements. The Ministry, however, considered the position insufficient and called on the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the UN Security Council and international community, especially the European Union, to take practical measures to force Israel to cease its settlement activity, including ensuring the implementation of UN Resolution No. 2334.
