The head of the Supreme Council for Fatwa in Palestine, Muhammad Hussein, warned of the Israeli occupation’s decision to demolish Al Bustan neighborhood in Jerusalem, which aims to empty the Jerusalem neighborhoods of their original residents and change their features to implement the occupation’s settlement plans. Al-Hussein further warned against exploiting the closures due to the Corona pandemic to carry out more excavations under Al-Aqsa Mosque to obliterate its historical features. He also condemned the ongoing attacks of the Israeli occupation on the holy sites in the West Bank, especially the Ibrahimi Mosque and Al-Aqsa Mosque, with the aim of seizing as much of their areas and facilities as possible. Al-Hussein called on the international community to take urgent and immediate action to stop settlement expansion, which represents a flagrant violation of UN resolutions.
