Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh asked Europe to oblige Israel into respecting its responsibilities in accordance with its signed conventions, which includes holding the upcoming election in Jerusalem for both voters and candidates. The EU Representative, Sven Kühn von Burgsdorff, said that a request has been submitted to Israel in order to admit a group of International observers into the election, but no response received in this regard yet.
