Researchers Muhammad Faisal Rasheed, Dr. Santosh Kumar, and Sabreen Azam have published a recent study in the New Horizons Research Journal of Social Sciences, Volume 16, Issue 1 of 2022, titled: “Sociological and Political Perspective of Palestine-Israel Issue in the Light of International Law.” This study focuses on addressing a highly controversial issue which is the modern day Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The researchers conclude that the conflict taking place is territorial conflict, a sociological and political issue concerning the sovereignty of a state. The study explores several things such as: the background of Palestine, the role the UN (United Nations) play in the conflict, whether Israel exists, the non existence of Palestine, recommendations for solving the dispute, and today’s current situation regarding the conflict.
