Human Rights and Democracy Media Center “SHAMS” has issued a statement for immediate release on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day entitled “Palestinian journalists in the time of Corona, the public interest before the scoop.” The statement has discussed the crisis of the Corona pandemic and the global press question, by examining the effects of the epidemic on journalists, and then delving deeper into the Palestinian context and highlighting the suffering of 19 Palestinian journalists in Israeli Jails.
